What is better than one wedding in Andaman? Well, obviously two. :) But what is better than that? Getting to meet Hiren and Simran ( couple from the first) on the wedding day of the second couple :) and also finding the most loveable bunch of people in the wedding entourage, who have gone from absolute bunch of strangers from Delhi to people I can incessantly torture! 

What made this wedding one of a kind was, firstly, it wasn't even supposed to be a wedding. Romika and Yash had planned on a holiday which soon turned into a Hum Saath Saath Hain group holiday which in turn became a full blown wedding by the beach in the ever pristine sands of Havelock Island. The total guest list was 23!! Yes you read that right. 23 people aged 24-30 (?) celebrating their dear friend's wedding.

Now that by itself would have made this a wedding nirvana. But what truly upped the game was not even the mighty clouds looming over the bay of Bengal could dampen the spirits of this bunch. It rained torrentially, perfectly syncing its intensity with the Pheras. The ever so wonderful friends quickly formed a proper 300-esque phalanx formation and sheltered the couple, the fire, the photographer from the rain and beat all odds to save the day and mostly save my cameras.

Most wedding photographers go on about stories of having adventurous couple shoot stories, mine is rather boring I ended up playing Chiddiya Udd and some Daaku-Villagers game all night with this bunch and successfully managed to miss the glorious sunrise of this beautiful island. I thoroughly thoroughly enjoyed shooting this wedding and am truly grateful this has happened twice now.
